Medical Home Referral
Finding medical homes for CURE Network clinic event participants is a high priority. While some individuals attending our program will have an established relationship with an area clinic, others will be in need of a primary healthcare provider where they can go for ongoing care after a CURE Network clinic program.
There are an estimated 1.7 million individuals in the greater Chicagoland area who do not have health insurance. Even more Chicagoans are drastically under-insured. Chicago is a city with a large legacy of more community health centers than most American cities. CURE Network clinic programs will refer more people to the free clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers with the desire that they establish a medical home for ongoing medical care.
